Turkey Recipes ~ Turkey Mushroom Quiche

Ingredients

• 1 x 9" baked pie shell
• ¾ cup cooked turkey, chopped
• ¼ cup canned sliced mushrooms, drained well
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
• 2 each green onions, thinly sliced
• 4 each eggs, slightly beaten
• 1 cup milk
• pinch cayenne pepper
• pinch freshly grated nutmeg
• pinch salt

1. Arrange turkey in a baked pie shell. Top with mushrooms, cheese, and onions.
2. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour into pie shell.
3. Bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted 1" from edge comes out clean.
4. Serve with a tossed salad and buttermilk biscuits, if desired.
